Today I created the sweetest little card…if I do say so myself!
Sometimes you make something and you just catch yourself going oh now that’s cute!
I used my Silhoutte Cameo to cut out the card base and I used Recollections Wedding Neutrals paper in a pale pink to put behind the front cover of the card.
Next, I stamped my little fairy from the Fairy Loved stamp set from Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps — she is a retired stamp — with Memento Black Tuxedo ink and coloured her in with my Spectrum Noirs. I decided to stick with soft pastel colours because that’s what I figured a happy little fairy would wear in the summertime! I then used my clear Wink of Stella pen to paint her wings and body. She just glistens. It’s disappointing because I just couldn’t capture how much the card glistens in the photo.
I pop dotted her onto the card in a way that I could have her spilling out the sequins from her hands onto the flowers…because that’s how flowers get their colours you know…wink wink! I glued each sequin from Lane 28 Sequins in Mixed Berry into place, using tweezers to place them.
I then painted the flowers with Wink of Stella as well.
Finally, I stamped the sentiment and then cut it out with a circle punch, edged it with Distress Ink in Spun Sugar and pop dotted it as well, but with a different foam adhesive so it would be lower than the fairy.
One little summer cutie ready to tell someone they are loved…
Thanks for stopping by!
