I’m attending the Luster and Light Crop Retreat in Cambridge, ON this weekend and getting to stay up late and scrapbook and stamp and get all crafty which makes me very happy!
The gang from Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps is here giggling away in their corner and my girlfriends and I are taking a class with them tomorrow morning, which we are excited about — partly about learning new techniques with the fabulous design team at KKS and partly just to get together and have a blast.
Tonight I’ve been working on a birthday card for a niece who turns 21. I decided I wanted to use Kraftin’ Kimmie’s Social Sally stamp, part of the July release. And it means I can enter the card in this month’s Monthly Make It Challenge — actually use the stamps you bought! A brilliant idea!
So here’s what I started with tonight:
And here’s where I ended up:
In between eating, chatting, strolling around, giggling…the usual retreat activities! Which I had better get back to!
