I’m so loving this new technique that I started playing with yesterday….watercolour with gelatos!

I showed you yesterday how I started playing with it and created the two cards with the fairies. Today, I created two cards using the Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps set Squishy Hugs. I haven’t used this stamp set before…yet another one in my collection! When I saw how soft the technique with the gelatos was working, I knew this was a set I wanted to try it out on.

I just love how soft the metallic gelatos come out. I pop dotted the watercolour image and used a soft matching paper background, added a sentiment that I edged with Distress Ink in Tattered Rose and added a little Doodlebug heart. Done!

I did the same thing on the second stamp in the set, but added the larger Doodlebug heart right on the stamped image.

So love how these turned out!
