It’s Day 15 of the Kolour It Up Challenge over at Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps and I have kept up with it! Yay me! I have really enjoyed getting into my craft studio every day and being creative.
I did realize that I forgot to post what I did yesterday — it was just such a busy day!
Well, today’s creation kind of reflects that!
Busy Beatrice is one of the spring release stamps from Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps and she was on my list to play with. And the sentiment I chose was one that I think reflects how many of us feel a lot of the time. So many things to do and all at the same time!
I chose papers from a 6×6 Kaisercraft pad called Miss Match and decided to do a half and half tone to go with the theme of the card.
I stamped Beatrice with Memento Black Tuxedo ink onto a diecut card and then coloured Beatrice with my Spectrum Noir and Copic markers.
I then edged the diecut card with Distress Ink Oxide in Faded Jeans. I stamped and edged the sentiment card with the same ink which I then fussy cut.
I glued on the peachy doily and tied some hemp twine in the centre of the card. I diecut a couple of other doilies using my Big Kick from the same paper pad to use as accent pieces. I glued the larger one in the upper right hand corner and then pop dotted the image diecut onto the card. I then added the smaller doily flower onto the image diecut and added a gumdrop in the centre. I also added three gumdrops to the other doily.
My last step was to pop dot the sentiment card on in the upper left corner.
Whew! A quick little card that shows how busy this week has been!!
Thanks for stopping by!
