Fall has arrived in my part of the world and it is my favourite season weather wise.
I love the change of seasons. I especially love the move this year from the especially hot and humid weather we had this summer. I’m not good with that. I far prefer the crisper, fresher air that Fall brings. Sweater weather we call it. Bring on the walking boots and light layers of sweaters!
We’ve just celebrated Thanksgiving this past weekend in Canada. We hosted a big family celebration and had 13 people for dinner. As the family grows with added members, figuring out whose working when, how do we schedule dinner, get everyone here at the same time, in the hustle of getting it all done, it’s hard to find the time to appreciate just getting to be together.
It’s been an especially busy last year. Once again, my poor blog has taken the brunt of it.
I have found time to get into my craft studio, and take photos; I just haven’t been posting about it the way I wanted to. My poor lonely blog child calls to me often and is usually the one who gets left all alone as I deal with everything else.
Now that I am teaching at Conestoga College, I am constantly on the computer. I have taught remotely throughout the pandemic to international students all over the world. Where many crafters were getting into their studios over the past two years, I was still working, often longer hours due to the challenge of teaching online and the needs of students.
But, I have promised myself that just as the Fall brings a season of change, I will change this habit of not getting into my studio and onto my blog enough. It’s a promise to myself. So, today, I share Pumpkin Kisses and Harvest Wishes with all of you.
Thanks for stopping by!
