February Launch Sneak Peeks Begin…

Today begins the February launch sneak peeks at Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps and we’re kicking it off a little old school with a Krafty Komeback stamp that is just way too cute!

Designed by Cheryl Grant and it’s called…..LULU AND FRIENDS! This was originally released in rubber, and we’re so excited to bring it back in clear for you!! Lulu is ready to jump in springtime puddles, make some yummy treats or get cozy with her adorable bunny slippers and sweet bear! You choose!!

As you hop around the design team’s blogs today, you’ll be able to check out LULU AND FRIENDS! in action in combination with a lot of our other new February Kraftin’ Kimmie products! You will spot our newest addition to the Kraftin’ Kimmie Hybrid Ink rainbow! It’s a gorgeous new colour…..called AQUA ADVENTURE! As always it will be available in full sized ink pads, ink cubes and ink refills!

We’ve got TWO new Krafty Stencils for this month’s release to help add some funky fun to your creations! They are called….BAKING BONANZA and SMOKIN’ SQUARES! Both designs are perfect for all your cards, scrapbook pages, mixed media and more!

I decided to use Lulu baking and the new Smokin’ Squares Stencil along with the new Aqua Adventure ink to create a yummy slimline card.

I also used Pink Pizazz and Precious Pink inks with the stencil to create the base squares. I then edged the card with the Aqua Adventure ink. Next, I selected some paper from the Doodlebug Made with Love 6×6 paper pad. I diecut a tag out of the cupcake paper to match two of the pre-printed tags from the paper pad. I then diecut a larger tag from the tiny mixer paper. I edged that tag with Stickles Stardust.

I stamped Lulu with the mixing bowl and coloured her with soft Copic markers: E000, E00, E01, E40, E93, R000, R00, R11, R20, YR21, YR31, and BG0000. I used foam dots to pop up Lulu to add some dimension. I also diecut a flower shape and stamped the sentiment from the set. I edged it in the Aqua Adventure and also added Stickles Stardust to the edge.

I added a wash of Wink of Stella in Clear to each of the squares for touch of glimmer and the final touch was adding some smiling little embellishments from the Doodlebugs Made with Love collection: Shape Sprinkles in Bake Me Happy, and Bitsy Chips and Doodle-Pops in Baby Cakes. Perfect for the baking theme!

I also created a second card, using the stamp with Lulu having fun in the rain with her little froggie friend. More Doodlebug paper, along with Pink Paislee paper, Doodlebug mini doilys, some sequins, some icy embellishments from Sparklets and Glossy Accents on the umbrella, raincoat and rainboots.
