Busy Bees Hopping Around….More Beautiful Bee Cards

First up is the BEE-utiful set that’s on everybody’s list….SWEET AS CAN BEE!!!

Also released were TWO NEW Krafty Kolours Hybrid Inks in YUMMY YELLOW and MARVELLOUS MOCHA!! So be sure to add them to your stash! They were included in the Surprise Krafty Kit so I had fun playing with them.

If you checked out my blog on Friday, you saw the two cards I created using this fun new stamp set. I created another one for today’s blog hop.

I just loved this little stamp set! I had so much fun playing with it…I just kept creating. There are still little bees floating on my craft studio table.

To make this card, I cut out the card using my Silhoutte Cameo using American Craft white cardstock. I then pasted a yellow card stock in behind to show through the cut out letters.

I had originally stamped an entire sheet of little bees using my Spectrum Noir markers using CT4, GB4 and GB6 for the yellow and I used CG5 instead of black for the stripes. I used GB4 for the hive which I stamped with the new Yummy Yellow ink. I coloured in the bees’ wings and antennae with Gelly Roll #700 (silver). I coloured the honey jar with GB4 and the lid with GB1. I then added Glossy Accents to the jar.

I also used the new Yummy Yellow ink to edge my sentiment stamp.

The bees and sentiment flag were all pop dotted to raise them up and give dimension. Once I placed the bees, I stamped their tails right onto the card.

I added the flowers from our Secret Surprise Kit as well as a few of the sequins for a little something extra! I finished it off with some ribbon I had.

One happy little card!
