So excited to be a Guest Designer at Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps this month as she launches the March release this week.
So welcome, welcome, welcome!
Today we are kickin’ off our March Krafty Peeks at Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps!
We have a theme for this month’s stamp sets and it’s a category that every stamper must have in their stash!
We’re celebrating BIRTHDAYS!
Today we have a totally SASSY new set by artist Melissa Baker-Nguyen!!
It’s called KICK ASSY BIRTHDAY!!!
I’m super excited to share this set because…..some of you have seen it already! (hee hee hee…I’m part of that group!!) That’s because it was the Super Secret stamp set that was included in the latest Krafty Kard Kit!!! So those who preordered it already have it in their inky little fingers and you’ll get to see their creations today and on release day!
This totally awesome set comes with a bunch of sassy larger sentiments that work for boys, girls, men or women!
There are also a selection of birthday themed images including balloons, stars, cake, candles and ice cream! Just wait ’til you see all the totally different creations today!
I really have had so much fun with this set! As soon as I saw it, I knew that I was going to love it! And get so much use out of it.
Here’s the card I made:
The sentiment I chose was the “Sassy, Classy and Totally Kick Assy!” which is just oh so appropriate for so many of my awesome girlfriends…and so many of my KKS stamps. I couldn’t decide which one I wanted to use. I chose this little cutie, retired Sophia. I coloured her up with my Spectrum Noirs, fussy cut her, layered her over an embossed background from Recollections that I enhanced with my Ranger Distress Inks in Picked Raspberry. I added in some paper from a Confetti birthday collection from Recollections, stamped the sentiment with my Momento in Tuxedo Black on a pink vellum paper and used vellum adhesive to layer it over Sophia. I then added some Recollections bling and flowers from…hmmm, I don’t know who! I bought them from a vendor last year when I was at Scrapfest in Kitchener. The card background I cut out with my Silhoutte Cameo.
Check out this versatile birthday set in action as you hop around the Krafty blogs today! You’ll see the list of Krafty design team members and Krafty Guests below and be sure to leave some love at each stop because one lucky commenter is going to WIN a gift voucher to the krafty shop! Plus we’re doing a GIVEAWAY of the ENTIRE release on the Krafty Friends facebook page! The winners will be announced at the party so don’t miss it!
You’ll get to see all the incredible creations for March as we share them each day this week! Be sure to join us at the LIVE Online Release Party on Saturday afternoon at 1pm EST! We’ll be checking out ALL three new clear stamp sets, sharing fabulous creations, giving away prizes and having tons of krafty fun!
Happy hoppin’ and we’ll see you back here tomorrow!
