Hi there! It’s Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps’ June Krafty Peeks…..Day ONE!
Today is the launch of the new SWEET AS CAN BEE stamp set by artist Becky Pearce and two NEW Krafty Kolours Hybrid INKS!
The set comes with SEVEN main images, some cute accessory stamps and FIVE fabby sentiment stamps for a total of FIFTEEN stamps in the set.
The gorgeous new Krafty Kolours Hybrid Inks being introduced this month are YUMMY YELLOW and MARVELLOUS MOCHA!!! You can get them in large ink pads, mini cubes and also refills!! They go perfectly with this release!!
I got to play with the stamp set and the new inks as part of a special Kraft Guest Group to help with this launch. It really is such a sweet set.
I started off by playing with stamps and I had all kinds of ideas about how they could be used. I coloured up a whole sheet of these wonderful little bees using my Spectrum Noir markers and I used Gelly Roll sparkle pens for the wings and antennas.
For this card, I cut out the circle design using my Silhoutte Cameo and then added black American Craft paper behind the green to make it pop. I layered the bees and then stamped their tails right onto the cardstock with Top Boss embossing ink and then used silver embossing powder to make them stand out. I edged one of the stamp sentiments with the new Yummy Yellow Hybrid Ink. I popped a floral decoration in the corner and added sparkly embellishments and a spotted black ribbon. One card done!
My next card was going to be an anniversary card that used one of the sayings from the new set “Honey, Kisses and Beeutiful Wishes”. I added the Happy Anniversary. I diecut the card with the fence using my Silhoutte Cameo. I created the clouds and grass using my BigKick. I layered everything, with the grass and clouds behind the fence layer. I stamped the tails right onto the cardstock. I added floral embellishments as well as the bakers twine, pulling in both the blue and yellow colours. I pop dotted the bees to give them dimension. I edged the stamped sentiments and the background yellow colour is all done in the new Yummy Yellow ink.
My final card — no, I think I will save that for the hop around on Sunday!! Hee hee!! I had so much fun with this sweet little set.
